My name is Haleemah Atobiloye. Pronouns are she, her, and hers. I am a social scientist with 4+ years of project management experience in the social sector.
My work and passion bother with advancing the economic, health, and social rights of people who identify as women. I currently serve as the Program Manager for Breast Cancer Action (BCAction), a revolutionary women’s health nonprofit addressing breast cancer through a social justice lens.
Prior to joining the team at BCAction, I held several positions of increasing responsibility at different organizations in the social sector tackling various social issues which include poverty, gender discrimination, unemployment, female genital mutilation, racism, climate change, and modern slavery – across the North American and African continents.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in International Development with a concentration in International Political Economy from Ohio University, and I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Crescent University. I was born in Nigeria, West Africa, and currently live in Ohio, USA.
My obsession with paying attention to every detail also shows up in my other creative (work) projects, which include creating stunning pieces for my fashion brand, by haleemah, collecting African mythological and historical content for Oriire, and hunting for new music to add to my chaotically organized music library.
